Almost ready |
A sunny day in London is quite a thing to be grateful for (even in early June).
Strolling through Chelsea,. I pass by the Royal Hospital of Chelsea. Feel like going in there, I doubt. A policeman in the front door feels my hesitation and invites me to go in.
What do I find? The Pensioners are in the courtyard getting ready for a group photo. That was luck!
They were also rehearsing in the days before marching on the Founder's Day.
Such a wonderful time shooting and chatting with those veterans. People full of sense of humor and vitality. Brave people.
Hesitation is not a good thing if you don't want to miss a nice opportunity.
Have you ever lost an opportunity because of your hesitation? Has someone ever helped you to get a photo opportunity you would have missed otherwise? Tell us.
Waiting for their turn |
If I sit down now I don't know if I'll be able to stand up again |
Come closer fellow, we can't hear you |
A sunny day for a photo group |
Fellow comrades |
All we've been through |
Shot with Fujifilm X-Pro1 and Canon FD 135mm f/3.5 (except "Fellow comrades" XF35mm f/1.4R)
