I shouldn't be doing this. At least that's what I used to think.
Blogging, searching for a better way to share thoughts and my photography. Why? What's the point? Let's procrastinate then.
Wrong reasons to not start
I find many, so many that my first draft was way tooWrong motivations to do it
Sure you'd think of some as I've done. Got my list not to forget about them, but again it's too boring long to annoy anyone with it.
Then, why?
Beyond my limitations, beyond my fears, I feel the urge to share this passion. I want to know how this works out through my eyes, my camera, my thoughts and my soul.
Breaking fences
Very special thanks to Roberto (el Pingue), Wouter Brandsma, Jorge Ledesma, Robert Boyer and Brian Dunlea.
You know why.
It depends on which site of the fence you want to be. Tucked away, enjoying your own pictures, or turning your pictures in photographs shared with the world. I am glad you made the jump Rafael. I look forward to more of your photographs through your own blog.
ReplyDeleteMy photography is not only meant for my enjoyment (if any). In fact I am sad I have more material than I can handle and deliver. Some of it might be worth.
DeleteThanks for your support. Means a lot Wouter.
Blogging is a terrifying yet thrilling adventure. The idea that a public as potentially large as the world could enjoy and follow your work is mind-boggling. But, as you say, there is nothing to lose. Good luck!
ReplyDeleteThanks a Mathieu. It's a journey, you know where starts and plan a route. From that on... you never know.
DeleteThanks for your kind words!
At last you decided to break down the bloody fence. You have started wtith a devoted follower! Eso sí, te comentaré en Spanglish :-D
ReplyDeleteGracias Jon! Toda una comunidad por aquí con gente como tú de la que puedo aprender mucho.
ReplyDeleteEl camino empieza; ahora a ver dónde me lleva.
DeleteUn abrazo.
Although many reasons have delayed starting your blog, only one was needed to push you to do so. What have prevented to jump into this new adventure, I’m sure that let you improve the experience and passion behind the lenses. Thank you for opening your world to the world. There’s no doubt you have lot of pictures to show, many stories to tell behind each one. From this side of the screen we are keen to enjoy them.
ReplyDeleteMy friend! Ready to go. This is just to share, the main thing is being out there, staying focused and shooting.
DeleteIt's great having you close Pol!
You're not only sharing your photography, you're sharing yourself Rafa. I guess photography is such a personal thing, we all love to know the mind behind the images. I'm delighted you've started, I'm sure it'll be worth it for you and for all of us :)
